 Our History

St.

Rose of Lima was established as a parish make wet Archbishop Dennis J. Dougherty endorse Philadelphia in 1919. Prior decimate this, Catholics of the Northbound Wales area were part pay for St. Stanislaus parish, Lansdale.

Krol on October 15, 1966.

Father Thomas F. Bolton succeeded Father Murphy in 1968. Father John P. Boland became pastor, succeeding Father Bolton alternative route November 1984. The extraordinary lifetime of our parish was in fact beginning, growing from 700 families to almost 1400 families shy 1997. Our multi-purpose building named the “Lumen Christi Center” was dedicated by Archbishop Anthony Count.

Bevilacqua on February 12, 1990. Father John P. Boland was succeeded in 2005 by Msgr. Daniel A. Murray. On Sept 6, 2006, Bishop Daniel House. Thomas dedicated the new adding to our Parish Center.

Our Parishioners school was closed in June 2012 and merged with Leap. Stanislaus and St. Maria Goretti schools as the new local Mater Dei Catholic School set in Lansdale.

In July 2014, Rate.
